Title: Illusions of Love
Fandom: Hollows aka Kim Harrison 'verse
Characters: Ivy Tamwood, Rachel Morgan
Category: Angst, Drabble
Rating: PG
Warning: I tried my best, but this hasn't been beta'd. All mistakes are my own.
Summary: Ivy thinks about Rachel's belief in her and wonders. Spoilers for For a Few Demons More.
Author's Note: I'm working on a longer Hollows fic that kinda shows the exact opposite of this, but the thought that Ivy did actually do what Rachel didn't think she did kinda stuck in my mind.
Disclaimer: These characters belong to Kim Harrison, and definitely not me. No copyright infringement is intended.
Rachel’s wrong. She thinks that I didn’t kill Kisten because I loved him. Just like I refused to kill her.
Rachel compares my feelings for her with my feelings for Kisten. They aren’t the same.
Despite the fact that I loved him, I would have killed Kisten for what he and Rachel did. He took away something that we could have had, and I will never forgive him for that.
At heart all vampires are selfish creatures.
I didn’t kill Rachel because I’m in love with her. Not Kist.
The better question is: Why does she believe in me?
Love?
