Answer: CD's, Sarah Palin and newspapers/magazines. 

Why: ipod's, such dumbassery cannot survive much longer, and because that's what the media tells me.

I'm not too sure about the CDs, or at least I hope not. I like having the physical objects and the fact there are no limits to copying and extracting them. Plus the sound on CDs is better than compressed music.

Mostly, I'm just guessing. It will probably take longer than that, but there does seem to have been a progression of sorts from eight-track tapes, to cassettes to CD's. I imagine they'll get replaced too eventually.

But IMO they ought to be replaced by something which is better than them in terms of sound quality, like it happened before.
