No, I have not been near the dread website yet again. I currently place more value on my sanity than that at the moment. I did, however, snag the paperback version of White Witch, Black Curse while I was walking through Walmart today to read the short story. Except there was no short story. There was an excerpt from the next book instead. This may be old news to everyone, but not me!

And here's where the SPOILERS start.

Because apparently Rachel gets possessed by a demon while taking a lesson from Al and working with Pierce. I admit the Pierce part bored me to tears so I sort of just skimmed through that part, but I loved the possessed by a demon with Rachel incapable of acting part.

Who wants to start taking bets now on Demon!Rachel going back to the farmhouse Church and doing something or some things that Non!Demon!Rachel would very much be freaked out about with Ivy. Imma just sayin'. Heh. And even if it doesn't happen, I sense shenanigans! Which I freely admit is at least two-thirds of the reason I even read this series even more, the final third being the blatant subtext that will drive me into insanity and incoherent frothing of the mouth before the end of the series.

Greetings!

I stumbled across your journal for NCIS fic some time ago (much heart-ness there, btw) and noticed your username. After some deft research into your tags I made note of one of the few other Star Wars femslash fans I've run across.

That being said, I'm attempting to enter in a ridiculous number of Star Wars stories for the "Cusp of Greatness" challenge at P&P. I'm posting them at my LJ as I finish them. Let me know what you think, if you care to read them. :]

There are a couple of us out here. It's funny that you made note of the username. I started using it at the JC and goodness knows there's tons of Jaina's there, but on LJ people rarely make the connection.

If you're looking for other places to post/read Star Wars femslash you should check out starwars_saffic and starwars_slash. The second one leans towards m/m slash more but they do have and allow femslash. Both aren't the most active of LJ communities, but there is the chance for meeting like minded folks there if you're so inclined.

The Jedi Council Forums - Once upon a time it was one of the top ten largest message board on the entire internet and it was about 99% Star Wars centric. The best place to go for spoilers in the prequel days. They have an awesome fan fiction section, but unfortunately they do abide by the rules set down by Lucasfilm and therefor don't allow any femslash or slash fan fiction. Something about corrupting the children or the vision or something.

I was a Jaina/Jag shipper back in the day, so it didn't matter too much then. I did manage to slip a fic past them once where Leia and Mara makeout drunkenly.

Oh! I'd just never seen that abbreviation for it. I troll there for costume things now and then (mostly I tend to go it myself; I'm kind of stubborn about making my own SW gear).

I was hardcore Jaina/Zekk for years. I don't really feel like either of the boys suit where she is in her life now. Too bad Jag has to head up the Fel Empire with a Jedi wife so the events of the Legacy comics can come to fruition. I'd like to see them bring in someone she's better suited for in her angst.

Yes, I am and yes, we are. :p I have never seen so many people from different fandoms glom onto a new one all at once.

I dunno. You never can tell with KH. I'm probably thinking she'll go with the "I couldn't control my actions" excuse or have her act weird and Ivy be the only one to recognize it or something at least once through the book. Idk. Mainly I just think she's going to string us all along until the very last book.

You are so right - there appear to be crossovers from soooo many different fandoms, it's amazing.

KH *sigh* I've kinda given up hoping for Ravy before the end of the novels - I'm just not convinced she has the chuzpah to do it. From here on out I'll read the pbcks and focus on the rest of the storyline.

Yay, thanks for the spoilers. There was never any excerpt in my copy of WWBC. This will make it slightly easier for me to wait out the two months until the release. That, and your ridiculously well written fics. Your stories in the hollows community are great! Hope it's okay to friend for your fics?
