Which averages out at about 12 fics per year.  Meaning that I'm slightly above average for this year because I've written or am finish up 19 fics since March.

You actually keep a total of how many you write in a year?

No, not usually. I just happened to notice when I uploaded a story to fanfiction.net the other day that it said I had 50 posted. I...never thought I'd write that much so I just thought it was kinda cool. That little bit of math is just my crazy brain messing around.

I'm not even going to consider how little I've written this year. Though now I have an eager fan trying to wheedle me into writing more Downtime. Looks like NCIS fic may have to wait a bit until I've made my friend happy.

It's all of these challenges that I've signed up for and in some ways I do have a lot of free time on my hands. Or I go through periods of free time. Sometimes I'll go months at a time without picking up a pen.
