I always did think Olivia had made a mistake the way she didn't let Natalia speak the several times that she tried to at the graveyard. I'm not sure it wouldn't have come out more of a disaster if she had, but it would have been interesting, that's for sure. I do think Olivia should have given her a little bit more time to process, both in canon and in this fic 'verse. It's a lot to throw at anyone, much less Natalia who's a well known slow processor. But then it makes the argument for Olivia not wanting to hear a rejection from Natalia's lips, just taking it indirectly when Olivia assumed she would marry Frank.
