Okay, here's the thing. It's going to sound really weird coming from someone who's spent the better part of the last four years writing Abby/Ziva fan fic, but I cannot get inside Abby's head to save my life...which means that I've spent the better part of the last four years doing my best to avoid writing about Abby's family. Because I've just got nothing!
In my head, which in no way got translated to the fic, Abby's family were completely cool with Ziva. A little surprised, sure, and there was some teasing involved, definitely a little brotherly humiliation, and maybe some culture shock (as much as Ziva ever experiences because she's 100% awesome), but I gotta figure that any parents who raise someone as awesome and cool as Abby are gonna be pretty much fine with waking up and finding Ziva in Abs' room, ya know?
So that's my take. I'm not saying I'll write another part, but several people have asked and the idea is kicking around in the back of my mind, and that has in the past resulted in fic. I can also think of at least three times that it hasn't...yet.
