Excellent conclusion to a well written, seamlessly crafted story. There were so many wonderful little slice of life moments, but I want to specifically point out my favorite. It's in this last part.
The scene where Ziva is telling Abby about shooting Ari was just incredibly well done. You had Ziva, not known for giving long speeches, kind of rambling as she stared out the window. I think that is dead on to how the character would tell this fact, pouring out the details that had been pent up so long. Then Abby, the ever chatty one, listening intently. SO well done. Again, spot on. The extra touch of Ziva resting her face against the window really added to the emotion and moved the scene from excellent, to incredible. I could really see the whole scene, and that tiny detail made me FEEL how weary Ziva was after carrying the burden of both killing Ari and keeping it a secret. Thanks for sharing this story and your talent. Lisa
