  • Finally!  It was only supposed to get here Friday and we ended up with one less chapter than promised.  (I'll stop being all Entitled!Fan now.)
  • Have to say, though I'm loving the excerpt so far.  The trend of lots of Ivy seems to be continuing and that cannot be a bad thing. At all. Ever.
  • I guess because I've read the short stories Rachel's lack of idea of what's going on with the Banshee thing is slightly annoying.  I am curious as to what is up with Ivy.  I mean, I sort of have an idea, but it is interesting to see her hiding something from Rachel.
  • Jenks is now my favorite.  Purely for his version of Twelve Days of Christmas.
  • Also, Rachel?  How long are we going to pretend that you're not so totally into Ivy.  Because it's painfully obvious.  Exhibit A: You get snitty when Ivy starts looking friendly with some one at the crime scene.  Exhibit B: You practically start drooling and fall into a puddle of goo on the floor when Ivy accidentally pheromones you.
  • And Ivy is so cute! How sweet is she making Jenks shut up when he's bugging Rachel and she can't stand it anymore.
  • I'm curious as to why the Banshee Tear feels furry when Rachel touches it?
  • Oh! And the exchange in the garage where Ivy knew that Rachel wouldn't leave? *g*
  • I'll admit I wish that Rachel was taking Ivy to her Mom's for dinner instead of Marshall. *sigh*  He's starting to either sound like he's becoming a Gary Stu...or he's hiding something major.  Maybe he's evil?  A girl can hope, right?
So...I'm really looking forward to it.  Can't wait for the 24th!  I hope it doesn't suck and I'm really looking forward to seeing Robbie again.

I'm hoping myself to see some major character development when it comes to Ivy. With Mia in the picture there is a definite possibility of that happening. Also, Rachel and Ivy going on a run together is something I'd really like to see. Even though they're supposed to be partners they spend very little time actually partnering up. In so far that the total sum of them doing something together in the books approaches zero.
