Interesting mix of books - where did the list originate from do you know (apart from ariestess)? Oddly enough I seem to have read 40 of these (which is pretty good) but have NOT read the only two books on the list to come from writers of my country - what does that say I wonder...
BTW - why did you hate the Lord of the Rings (just curious).
