I really, really owe you for this one. I keep reading each book, praying that Harrison will do the right thing by Ivy and let Rachel grow up and put on her big girl panties (or, better yet, take them off). Instead there are these continual hints and close calls, fewer and fewer as the series progresses, and I feel like saying, "Hey, there's enough unrequited love in the real world. I read books to get away from that kind of crap."
With that said, it's pretty smart to keep stringing us along. I have a feeling the series would be in danger of "jumping the shark" if Ivy and Rachel ever settled down and started investigating sperm banks. But my heart just aches for Ivy, as much as if she really existed.
You did an incredible job of mimicking Harrison's writing style. I think you should write a book of your own - consider one copy already sold!
